17.05.2023

Brand bar manager of Iconfood restaurant holding Asker Hashev, inspired by the work of Russian poets, created a collection of refreshing drinks. The menu includes lemonades, espresso tonic and iced tea.

First of all, it is worth paying attention to the lemonade “Birch” - an interpretation of the poem of the same name, written in 1913 by a young Sergei Alexandrovich Yesenin. A drink based on birch sap with dandelion jam, lemon juice and mint, decorated with birch bark.

Lemonade “The Sun” was created based on a poem by Andrei Bely in 1903. The reference to the work is transmitted through the sunniest berry - sea buckthorn and the rich orange color of the drink. It consists of sea buckthorn sauce, ginger juice, lemon and mint, juicy grapefruit and mint decor.

In the manor novel “Eugene Onegin” (1823), by the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, describes in detail the culture of tea drinking, almost all the characters drink tea, but Onegin himself is coffee:

“Imitating Gulnara singer,

This Hellespont swam,

Then I drank my coffee...”

The reference to this interesting detail is made in the Onegin espresso tonic: two shots of espresso with orange juice, tonic, blackberry syrup and the author's blackberry-lemongrass sauce. Decorated with bamboo leaf and blackberry berry.

In 1843, Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev wrote the poem “Spring Evening". Truly a landscape work, where there is a place for clouds, the sun and thunder thundering in the distance, the shine of dew and the murmur of a stream in the valley. In the drink of the same name, Asker Hashev addresses this mood through a color referring to clouds. The base is honeysuckle jam with the addition of blackberry syrup, lemon juice and lemongrass sauce, decorated with a slice of freeze-dried lime and a violet flower.

In conclusion, the Caucasian Prisoner iced tea was created, the romantic poem of the same name was written by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin in 1820-1821. A story about unrequited love among the riot of nature of the Caucasus: high mountains, stormy rivers, rich greenery of nature and bright people. The atmosphere of the place described in the work is conveyed through the Caucasian herbal collection, tarragon and pine cones.

Enjoy the author's drinks and discover the creativity of great poets in a new way.
